Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj

How admission usually works

1. Read the notice. Check the school's admission notice for entry classes, dates, seats and age criteria.

2. Register. Fill the registration form online or at the school within the window, and pay the registration fee if one is charged.

3. Submit documents. Usually the child's birth certificate, address proof, photographs and, for higher classes, the last report card and transfer certificate.

4. Interaction or test. Some schools hold an interaction or entrance assessment for certain classes. Nursery-level admissions in Delhi's private schools follow the Directorate of Education's schedule and points criteria.

5. Confirm the seat. Check the selection list and pay the admission fee by the deadline to secure the place.

General steps for private schools. The school's own notice decides the exact process, dates and documents.
